My wife and I were floored that she would put her own skin in the game to get the deal done. We ended up not needing to take her up on her offer but knowing that she had our back was incredibly assuring during that stressful time. <br/><br/>Also, during negotiations with our first accepted offer, the buyer tried to get us to lower the price of the house substantially by getting inflated qoutes for work that we had already disclosed and received quotes for ourself.
